Anika Bergstrom – Montreal, QC
Beyond Duality: Troubleshooting Switch Dynamics
Anika Bergstrom has been organizing and teaching in the leatherdyke community since 2004. She’s been on both sides of ongoing power dynamics, sometimes at the same time with the same person, and has had her mind so thoroughly stretched by her experiences that she isn’t really sure she remembers what the box looks like anymore. She’s a real theory-head and enjoys thinking about the things we do and why we do them, as well as what we get out of our kink and how we can have more satisfying relationships. Ownership dynamics, spirituality and ritualized play are central interests for her, though she also seeks both sides of the whip and the blade and finds unpredictable switchy romps to be great fun, too.
