AN UNHOLY HARVEST: Ottawa, Ontario, October 7-10, 2011

About An Unholy Harvest

Gloved hand on throatAn Unholy Harvest is Canada’s annual weekend-long leather/BDSM event for women and trans people, co-founded in 2007 by Jacqueline St-Urbain and Andrea Zanin. It takes place each year over Thanksgiving weekend in October. An Unholy Harvest draws kinky queers from all over the country and beyond. For its first five years, Harvest took place in Ottawa; for our 2012 edition, we’ve moved to Toronto. Attendance is capped at 120 to encourage a friendly atmosphere, and our programming is designed to appeal to people with a wide range of interests and experience levels, from the fresh-faced novice to the seasoned pervert.

An Unholy Harvest features three play parties, a full slate of workshops and panels, two lunchtime activities, two evening activities, and a closing clean-up brunch. We place a strong emphasis on fostering Canadian community, and as such we are committed to encouraging new Canadian presenters to share their skills at Harvest as well as welcoming more experienced Canadian presenters. We keep our price low, provide a discount to our many volunteers, and offer a limited number of scholarships so as to remain accessible to people from a wide range of financial situations, and we are actively working to make Harvest more accessible for people with disabilities. Please check out our FAQ section for more details on the event, our accessibility page to learn about our accessibility measures, or our testimonials page to see what past attendees have said about the event!

An Unholy Harvest is open to women (including trans women) and trans-identified folks who respect and honour a women's play space and who feel they have a place among leatherdykes.

An Unholy Harvest extends its sincerest thanks to our 2012 sponsors!
